In 1985 Lee won a place on Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton’s Soccer School of Excellence after beating the rest of his secondary school in a keepy-up competition!Lee’s first taste of TV came when he was chosen to appear on ITV children’s TV show ‘Get Fresh’ where he played snooker with professional player John Parrot & dressed up in a space suit!Unfortunately just before Lee’s 15th birthday he was once again diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

His first thoughts of stardom were wanting to perform magic tricks like his then hero, famous magician Paul Daniels.
Lee would perform his magic tricks in front of anyone who would watch him as he dreamed of stardom!
In 1982, 9 year old Lee was diagnosed with cancer, Hodgkin’s Lyphoma.
Lee received gruelling chemotherapy treatment at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Lee’s hair fell out due to the aggressive treatment he was receiving.
Lee was back to full health by the time he was 11 & it was then that he decided he wanted to be a professional snooker & footballer player!
